Glistex, a niche lightbulb company specializing in the party area, approached me to design packaging that would reflect their unique brand identity. Drawing inspiration from retro cartoons, I envisioned a design that would be both nostalgic and eye-catching.

To enhance the visual impact, I decided to limit the color palette to just two colors. This constraint allowed me to focus more on the design elements themselves, ensuring that they would stand out and capture the attention of potential buyers.

The project included the creation of three distinct packaging designs—Disglow, Glory, and Glow—each tailored to different lighting styles. Despite the differences in functionality, I maintained a cohesive aesthetic across all three designs, ensuring that they would be instantly recognizable as part of the Glistex brand.

To bring these designs to life, I utilized an industry-standard laser cutter. This precision cutting technique not only ensured that the packaging was accurately constructed but also added a level of sophistication to the final product.

One of the most exciting aspects of this project was the opportunity to experiment with new typographical techniques for the Glistex logo. By combining modern typography with playful elements, I was able to create a logo that perfectly encapsulated the brand's identity—modern yet fun, professional yet approachable.

Overall, this project was a testament to the power of creativity and innovation in design. It allowed me to push the boundaries of my skills and deliver a final product that exceeded the client's expectations.
